THEMATIC AREA ONE & GOAL:

ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH – WASH and REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH (RH): To promote environmental best practices and improve access to health related Services and Information in the Communities in the Niger Delta through partnership with Donor and Government Agencies

THEMATIC AREA TWO & GOAL:

PEACE AND SECURITY: To support the implementation of Government Policies on Peace and Security, Environmental and Human Rights of oil producing communities through partnership with Donors and relevant Government Agencies. Activities will include; peacebuilding initiatives, sensitization on peaceful elections, information sharing, early warning response, mediation, tolerance and peaceful coexistence among communities in the Niger Delta

THEMATIC AREA THREE & GOAL:

GOOD GOVERNANCE: Increase Accountability and Transparency in the Public Sector through partnership with Donors and Government Agencies for improved governance at regional and community levels

THEMATIC AREA FOUR & GOALS:

GENDER: Improve Livelihood of citizens especially, women and Youths and to address gender gaps through partnership with relevant stakeholders

THEMATIC AREA FIVE & GOAL:

ORGANAZITIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Improve Institutional Capacity of CEPEJ to effectively deliver on Organizational goals and objectives through partnership with relevant Agencies.  That is, institutional strengthening for improved service delivery

POLICY OPTIONS AND STRATEGIES

 CEPEJ adopts the strategy of advocating best environmental and peace building practices, exchange of information, building bridges of friendship, environmental health and natural resource conservation, through seminars, summits, conferences and public lectures to ensure that the local people pilot and manage their environment and economy in a profitable and sustainable manner. We set agenda for development discourse through research, media advocacy, workshops, seminars, town hall meetings, peace rallies, livelihood assessment sessions, peace-building, empowerment or capacity building programmes for community women and youths, partnership with government, other non-governmental organizations and community development organizations or agencies, as well as organizing brainstorming sessions on local and global environmental issues.
