Governor’s Inauguration: CEPEJ Urges Dr. Okowa, his Deputy to respect Rule of Law

The Center for Peace and Environmental Justice CEPEJ, has congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his Deputy, Barrister Kingley Oturaro ahead of their inauguration on May 29, 2019.

The National Coordinator, Comrade Sheriff Mulade urged the Governor and his Deputy to observe the Rule of Law and strive to maintain the integrity of the the State as they are re-sworn into office.

While congratulating Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his Deputy Barrister Kingley Oturaro, the NGO charged them to actualize the legitimate yearnings of Deltans for a greater Delta State in the social, political and economic spheres of the State.

Comrade Mulade stated that it is not enough to congratulate Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his deputy, all Deltans who came out to massively vote for the duo, as well as other governorship aspirants who willingly conceded defeat and appealed to their supporters to accept the people’s verdict, also need to be commended.

The Center, however, appealed to all Deltans to be peaceful during and after the inauguration of the Governor and his Deputy, so that development can come to Delta State and its citizens.
